Sigma & Tamron Mother’s Day Sales

With Mother’s Day fast approaching and Father’s Day on the horizon, Sigma and Tamron are hoping to entice bored, quarantined shoppers with sales on some of their most popular lenses (and cameras).

Tamron

Tamron’s Mother’s Day sale (May 1 – 10th) includes instant rebates of $50 each on their popular 17-28 f/2.8 and 28-75 f/2.8 lenses for Sony-E, and $100 off the all-in-one 14-400mm zoom lens that is so popular with amateurs.

Sigma

Similarly, Sigma is offering savings on a huge selection of lenses, but they’re offering them beyond Father’s day (until June 30th, in fact).

Headlining their savings is the diminutive Sigma fp camera with 45mm f/2.8 lens combo at a sale price of $2149 dollars, a savings of $50 over the standard price. (Wait… that’s a 2% discount? They must be selling at low margins to begin with).

Many of their lenses are much more dramatically reduced. The ever popular 35mm f/1.4 ART series lens is $200 off, down to $699, for example. Others include:
