In early August, Tamron announced a couple of important new lenses: a 35-150mm f/2-2.8 , and an update of their popular 28-75mm f/2.8 lens, both for Sony E-mount. Today, Tamron has informed us that the lenses will hit store shelves on October 28th, with prices of $1899 for the 35-150, and $899 for the 28-75 f/2.8.
Additionally, the Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 for Fuji X-mount will also be available on October 28th for $699, while the Sony version is available this month.
Naturally, these dates may be subject to delay by the worldwide COVID pandemic and the related chip shortage, but delivery times have probably already taken these factors into account.
We haven’t had any luck finding anyplace where pre-orders are open yet, but they undoubtedly will be in the next couple of days.
