Last night Sigma announced the full details, including pricing and availability, of their tiny full-frame camera, the Sigma FP. The 24 megapixel camera, housed in a lightweight aluminum body, can shoot full-frame 4K video at 24 and 30fps in 12-bit Cinema DNG format with face/eye detection, and it’s also a full-featured stills camera with an electronic shutter, compatible with L-mount lenses. All of this comes in a body that weighs only 370g (13oz), less than the APS-C Nikon Z50.
Sigma will begin shipping the FP on October 25th, coinciding with the PhotoPlus Expo in New York City, at a cost of approximately $1899 for the body, or $2199 with the Sigma 45mm f/2.8 Contemporary lens. Pre-orders are now open at B&H.
