This video provides an example of how easy it is to add some quick effects to product photos with Photoshop CS6 to make them a little more interesting (or at least, different) from all of the others out there on white backgrounds. In this case, the only major difference between the process in CS5 and CS6 is the ability to adjust the “Lighting Effects” in real time. I could also have created the camera’s shadow by extruding some 3D objects and making them invisible (while leaving the shadows visible), but that’s more work than necessary for a quick example like this.
